Dubai South is rapidly emerging as a prime property hotspot, driven by the AED128 billion ($35B) expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport—poised to become the world’s largest. Since the announcement, property prices have jumped 25%, while rental rates have increased by 20% in 2025 alone. The area recorded AED16.1 billion in sales in 2024, with over AED15 billion already achieved in the first five months of 2025. Despite this growth, prices remain 60% lower than Downtown and Business Bay, offering significant room for appreciation.
